Not really sure what importance this has to the question at hand
<math>\eta</math> (<math>\eta</math> = 1, 2, 3, ...) are the exact states (microstates) that the system can occupy, generally, these 
can be regarded as discrete quantum states of the system.

Not really sure what importance this has to the question at hand

 ( = 1, 2, 3, ...) are the exact states (microstates) that the system can occupy, generally, these
