Introductory course for science majors which covers the key aspects
This seminar is intended to introduce students to current research topics at the forefront of astrophysics
and concepts of modern astronomy and astrophysics including coordinate
and astronomy. Students will learn how to present scientific results, how to defend their research
systems, instrumentation, our sun and planets, stars and stellar evolution,
and evaluate findings of other researchers. The seminar will include journal-club like discussions
